I had my Mom and nephew in town for Thanksgiving and we took a drive through the Garden of the Gods the next day. We've had a particularly wet fall, with several snowstorms coming through Colorado Springs since mid-October. Our most recent storm dumped 7 or 8 inches of snow on the city, with far more in the mountains. This photo was taken a couple days later, when warming temperatures had begun to slowly melt the snow. I took it with a Canon 6D DSLR camera and a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens.
